VIDEO Recordings: 60 Party only (work in progress!) |
(So far, this page just has most of the 60 Party videos, by song, in no particular order. Some videos will require editing prior to posting. This is for reference/comment by certain few people at this early point, so people can get a first look and/or listen to the material. A lot of great music was recorded/separated into song files. Most of the individual recordings are flawed due to the live/party atmosphere and/or technical issues. The recording sound quality is surprisingly good (but some talking was recorded at inopportune moments/volumes, etc.). Videos include people walking by, which really is fine, but sometimes the view of the band was inadvertantly blocked (as we didn't make a point of making sure people knew a video was being recorded, etc.). These are for reference only, at this point, (I) but hope you enjoy them! All comments are welcome. By the way, if you were recorded and have any reservations about the recording beling posted/shared, please let me know. Since this is Jeff's webpage, it should be noted that Jeff was part of a unique gathering of great musicians jamming at the August 16, 2014 event at Proud Lake State Recreation Area (the 60 Party). Here are some videos from the 60 Party, with Jeff, Rick S, Paul I, Greg M and/or Danny F (the XBHS Jam Band II, as it were...).First a short one, Blackbird: While the band mostly broke apart to mingle/eat, Jeff kept the music going...here is an interesting interlude with a couple quick Spanish/classical pieces...
some longer songs, w the Jam Band, much larger files, hope they work for you... A nice instrumental version of "Badge" A very nice and unique version of "You shook Me"
Here's a super version of "Superstitious", or is it Superstition? Even has a pretty good video view throughout, one of the best overall videos, I think.
Key To The Highway Baby, Please Don't Go "Travelin' Down South" (Have to double-check the editing on this...Sunshine of Your Love) Here is the first song (just before Jeff set-up...FYI) "Freeway Free Jam" (Running out of time at the moment...so, following are several without inro...) Jeffrey, Where You Hidin'? (a JG original) Crossroads Eight Miles High Locomotive Breath Little Wing Strange Brew Something Feelin' Allright Long Distance Call Dock of the Bay As Tears Go By This next one is controversial, I'm reluctant to include this one in its entirety, because the cinematography was so poor in the middle, there was a gap due to the camera being unplugged for a sec...the background chatter was distracting in the middle, but the music had so many great moments...great sound at times...so warts and all here is is, an historic recording (to me), (Good news, an edited version is in the works...that should be more postable, as this is just a test anyway...)

That's all of the 60 Party videos for now. A couple others need definte editing due to video flaws...but that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed this test!
